A Bellport manufacturer of general use and specialty
industrial lubricants sought new international sales
channels and turned to EMAS for help. According to Vice
President Robert Silverstein, “EMAS has been instrumental in
our growth in new export markets… We have generated
significant sales in Canada …We have also had repeat sales
in the Czech Republic…We’ve entered South Africa. And we are
presently working with a company in Mexico to develop sales
based on a lead from the EMAS program. We look forward to

K.O Fire Curtain of Plainview, N.Y. develops and
manufactures firefighting tools and technologies. They
contacted Empire State Development’s International Division
for assistance in expanding into the European market.
